Proclaiming Jesus

Mark 1:25, 1:34, and 3:11 give an account of Jesus healing people from unclean spirits. Each time the unclean spirits either proclaim Jesus aloud or He tells them to remain quiet before they can speak. But in all 3 accounts, we know that these unclean spirits know who Jesus is.

Those of us that are saved, also know who Jesus is, yet we do not proclaim Him aloud.

The unclean spirits that were tormenting people and working in direct opposition to Jesus loudly cried that He is the Son of God.

Christians are to be walking alongside Jesus, not in opposition to Him, yet we aren’t proclaiming that He is the Son of God.

Maybe we don’t fully understand who He is well enough in our own lives to be able to tell someone else.

Our lack of understanding, lack of faith, and lack of proclaiming Jesus has a worldwide ripple effect on other people.

We are to do more than just tell people that God loves them and died for them so they don’t go to Hell for all eternity. We are to proclaim every day who Jesus is!

The new convert, the weary saint, and the doubting soul NEED to hear your proclamation that Jesus is who He says He is.

He is near to His children.

He does answer prayers.

He does give sufficient grace.

He does give peace that passes all understanding.

He is trustworthy.

He is our redeemer.

He is our counselor.

He does love us unconditionally, all of the time.

Proclaim Jesus today.

Stay in the Word, stay close to the Shepherd, and let Him lead you in paths of righteousness.

With Hope in His Service,

Heather
